About The Lowell Latin Lyceum Logo
The Lowell Latin Lyceum logo is based upon elements of three: The three “L”s of the Lowell Latin Lyceum. The three steps represent the trivium of Grammar, Logic and Rhetoric. The three pillars represent learning in the subject areas: Math and Science, History and Social Studies, and Language and the Classics. The three crown elements hint at the integrated nature of the classical education, making connections across the subject matter and the written, oral or dialectic facet of education.
